Abstract

The subject of the diploma thesis "Evaluation of the investment plan for the use of waste heat" is to evaluate the effectiveness of the selected investment in the company VÍTKOVICE STEEL, a.s. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts, namely the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part deals with the introduction of the company and the description of investment decision-making methods. In the practical part, selected methods of evaluation of investment projects are applied to a specific investment project. Part of the evaluation of the effectiveness of the investment plan is a summary of economic indicators, recommendations and knowledge important for the implementation of the planned investment.
