Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis processes and evaluates two methods of technological procedures used to repair and update the underlying sleepers of railway lines. The first method is a classical one with track grate laying, the second is without track grate laying. A comparison and evaluation is presented as general at first, and then as specific based on a particular railway track section (Košatka railway switch– Jistebník railway station). The resulting recommendation was carried out taking into account the technical and economic aspects as well as the required length of interruption periods for traffic. The conclusion contains a separate project, namely the probability assessment of a module for reshaping the underlying railway line in general and, subsequently, specifically with respect to the particular railway track section (Košatka railway switch – Jistebník railway station) track No. 2.
