Mariánská skála v Ústí nad Labem - geologická charakteristika lokality a těžba kamene v kontextu potencionálních aktivit po uzavření lomu

Abstract

My thesis deals with geological evaluation of Marianská skála in Ústí nad Labem, with an insight into the location history, mining stone in the quarry, benefits for the city and further mining at present with the future perspectives, and a proposal for possible redevelopment and reclamation works in the stone pit after exhaustion of the resources determined by the extraction area border. The forecast for the reclamation start depends on the annual extraction volume, which moreover depends on customer demand. My thesis is aimed at a proposal for redevelopment and reclamation of the quarry and the possibilities of active use of the area with respect to urban planning, and recommendation of the future investment goals for the owners of adjacent land, which will influence the new appearance of the discussed area.
