Abstract

This thesis deals with applying the learning organization concept in a selected university world. Thanks to continuously improvement of human resources the organization could gain on the market by using principles of this conception. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part describes theoretical basis of learning organization by Peter Senge. The second part is practical and deals with a profile of selected organization, performed by analysis made by interviews with heads of departments and secretaries of departments of this organization and analysis of five disciplines by Senge. In conclusion are mentioned selected recommendations for removing of shortcomings.
