Výroba elektrické a tepelné energie v teplárenské závodě

Abstract

Electricity production is one of the most important economy sectors any country. Each of us use electric energy on daily basis and it has an undeniable role in modern society. It allows development of all industrial parts and contributes to the overal development of the country. Electricity consumption continues to rise, but this is conditioned by volume of production and reserves of energy sources, i.e. coal, oil, natural gas, renewable energy sources and nuclear fission. For better imagination of how the power plant works we will deal with topics like: boiler, turbine, generators, blowers, compressors but also about power plant cooling system. The reader will get a general overview of how the power plant works and how electricity is produced, which is the main goal of this work.
