Realizace česko-slovenské přeshraniční spolupráce v rámci Euroregionu Bílé-Biele Karpaty

Abstract

The aim of bachelor thesis is to demonstrate the concept and the efficiency of the cross-border cooperation within the EU on the particular example of Euroregion Bílé-Biele Karpaty. The specific aim was to prove or disprove hypothesis that were set at the beginning of my thesis. Bachelor’s thesis is divided into five chapters. The theoretical part is focused on introduction of basic concepts, followed by definitions of cross-border cooperation and euroregions as bearers of this form of cooperation. In the third chapter we can find further characteristic of selected euroregion and the socio-economic analysis of both regions that make up euroregion. These data were used for mutual comparison and for evaluation of any possible disparities between regions. In the conclusion there is the analysis of euroregions activity based on realized projects.
