This bachelor thesis deals with the basic physical propeties of construction materials and their influence on fire-technical characteristics. The work is diveded into two parts: theoretical and practical. The first part is focus to the summary overview of the physical propeties of solid substances and their specification. I explain their influence on flammability. The practical part is concentrate on determining influence of humidity selected material based on wood on ignitability and oxygen index. It is evaluated the behavior of the individual sets of samples during laboratory tests.
