Zhodnocení vývoje rentability společnosti ŽDB GROUP a.s.

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to create complete analysis of the ŽDB GROUP a.s. company through indicators of profitability.

The thesis is divided into three main parts. First focuses on theoretical explications. Description of financial analysis and meaning of individual indicators, especially profitability. In the second part, description of the company, important historical turns of the company, the company’s structure, horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance and the statement of profit and loss.

Based on the indicators of profitability we can determine that the company effectively exploits its material possessions and that effective control of expenses exists. The values of profit show unfavorable progression. These values are of unstable character. No indicators show noticeably ineffective values.
