Abstract

This thesis aims to detect the discharge activity of the partial discharges, and determine the failure type from the analysis of the signals of the covered conductors at the high voltage level. We are interested in the most frequent and for the covered conductors the most dangerous faults. Particularly, we are interested in the faults from a fallen branch on the phase conductor and a tree touching these conductors.
