Abstract

Achieving a good status of surface water is one of the main objectives of all EU Member States. River landscape and the quality of surface water are disturbed by anthropogenic pollution. Therefore, it is important to deal with this issue and observe the parameter values in surface waters. The submitted bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of the status of water quality in the Olešnice watercourse, which springs in the hills of Oderské vrchy, are observed. The theoretical part describes the indicators which influence the quality of water. The practical part evaluates the examined locality, analyses the indicators and evaluates the levels of pollution in the given watercourse. A total of 6 profiles are monitored, in which water quality is evaluated according to legislation such as ČSN 75 7221 and Nařízení vlády č. 401/2015 Sb.
