Abstract

The topic of my bachelor thesis is the financial management of general doctor. The goals of my thesis are evaluation and possible arrangements based on analysis and description of the financial management. In the theoretical part of my work, I described the concept and development of healthcare, and division of healthcare and medical facilities in the Czech Republic. Moreover, I introduced a healthcare financial plan for public insurance, emergency healthcare, and principles of financial management of general doctors. In the practical part of my work, I analyzed specific doctor´s offices of general doctors in the time period of 5 years. The analysis includes separate time periods from 2006 to 2007 and from 2008 to 2010. There are included and evaluated expenses, incomes, costs, pays-off, results of financial management, and other economic indicators. In my bachelor thesis, I analyzed the comparison and ranking of every year.
