Abstract
The thesis focuses on the financial mining company LOMY MOŘINA spol. s r.o. for the period of calendar years 2022 and 2023. The company is a leading supplier of limestone for desulfurization of three coal-fired power plants of ČEZ a.s. The aim of the thesis is to assess the financial health of the company, identify key year-on-year changes and propose ways to improve the company's financial performance. The thesis analyzes the status, difference and ratio indicators and Du Pont's pyramid decomposition of the return on equity (ROE) indicator.
