Abstract

The dissertation deals with heating of the buildings of Monastery of Our Lady on Vltava.The monastery consists of five new buildings. All buildings are heated by the means of panel radiators, with the exception of the church, which is heated by floor convectors. Due to the expanse of the monastery, the heating of water takes place in several containers. The placement of the containers is such, that there is no loss of heat of the hot water. For sufficient heat accumulation, two stratified storage tanks are used and placed in the boiler room and help to cover peak demands for heat. The heating plan is designed in order to maximise the full usage of the heat pumps using low thermal gradient of heating water.
