Abstract

The goal of this thesis was to define extraordinary situations in the region of Ostrava. This thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part.

Basic terms and legal enactments are listed in the theoretical part. The practical part focuses on the City Rescue Service Ostrava, its description, examples of some extraordinary situations in the past. It also presents the characterization of possible extraordinary situations in the future and analyses the risks of their occurrence in this region.
