Abstract

The aim of this thesis is the design and implementation of image processing tools in the program FOTOMNG . The tool is intended for imaging of magnetic resonance images and subsequent volumetry search object on the slide. This tool can be helpful in locating pathological objects in the human body . The module will be programmed in the Java platform and NetBeans is deployed in the program FOTOMNG . This work deals specifically with the localization and volumetry brain tumor . It is only bounded tumors because the tumors growing diffusion can not be localized. In trying to determine the tumor area in one image , and the total volume of the tumor mass . Localization is performed using active contours . After deploying the module to the program it is possible to relatively easily perform volumetry pathological object.
