Připravenost obce Hroznová Lhota na blackout

Abstract

The thesis deals with the preparedness of the municipality of Hroznová Lhota to cope with a long-term blackout. In the first part of the thesis the concept of blackout is defined, its causes and impacts on society are analysed and the relevant legislative framework is presented. Furthermore, blackouts abroad are mentioned and crisis management is presented. A checklist is used to determine the level of preparedness of the municipality Hroznová Lhota, which allows for a systematic evaluation of various aspects of preparedness. On the basis of the results, specific measures are proposed to improve the preparedness of the municipality for possible power failure situations.
