Pojištění právní ochrany na českém pojistném trhu

Abstract

Legal protection insurance is a specific type of insurance provided by specialized or universal insurerance companies. The insured event is a legal issue and the main principle of insurance is to secure a position of the insured person in order to better assert its legal rights. Legal protection insurance in the Czech Republic compared to Western European countries is at a very low level. This thesis deals with the legislation and insurance conditions of insurance companies, specifying insurance products and comparing offer of various insurance companies. Its main object is to evaluate the economic benefits of insurance. Also further is defines the possible alternatives of legal protection insurance and highlights the gaps in this kind of insurance on the Czech insurance market.
