Abstract
In this diploma thesis I am focused on case studies of reliable and redundant networks as a part of RCNA (Regional Cisco Networking Academy) learning. I have described BGP confederations and route reflectors, AToM technology for transport L2 traffic over MPLS network, redundancy by group of FHRP protocols, and redundancy in multicast traffic. In practical part of this diploma thesis I have created several lab examples, through which students can check their theoretical background.
