Abstract
Currently, e-learning is applied as a fast and effective medium of lifelong learning. E-learning is exploited by schools and others organizations. It is connected with distance education; they have a few elements in common. The specialists try to make more effective e-learning by differents tools, e.g. Rapid e-learning. Electronic course is composed of the 3 groups: e-students, tutors and e-managers. The e-students make a virtual class. They should make good a few criterions to finish studies successfully. A tutor must realize to be a good teacher. The e-managers are responsible for operating and organization of the electronic courses. Creation of the electronic courses is divided into a few parts. The basis is a good preparation. In order to perform its function, the course has to have multimedia elements, texts have to be structured well and tabularly. The course has to be tested, so that there has to be warranted quality before its putting into operation. Different learning management systems are used across the world. In the Czech Republic the most used ones are eDoceo, iTutor and Moodle. On the basis of their comparison there can be ascertained what the best one is for the certain needs. In the Bachelor thesis the electronic course Bibliopedagogy is mentioned. It is on the Institute of Information Studies and Librarianship in Prague.
