Abstract
This thesis The Technology Assessment in ArcelorMittal Ostrava plc. - the Blast Furnace with Respect to Air Protection. The first part focuses on legislation in the area of air pollution in the European Union and the Czech Republic. Another part of the thesis analyzes the air in Ostrava Radvanice - Bartovice in terms of industrial influences, local heating and transport. The last part addresses the blast furnace compared with the best available technology BAT.
