Abstract

The Diploma Thesis: Re-use of the Former Barracks Complex in the Town of Frýdek-Mistek. The Diploma thesis is divided into three parts: research background, analytical and design part. The research part is focused on the description of the urban geomorphological and demographic dates and traffic infrastructure of the town and its surroundings, This part also contains selected brownfields that have been successfully regenerated. The analytical part is concerned with the description of the referred complex, its exploration and results and evaluation of analyses. The final part brings my own theoretical project that was developed on the basis of analyses and research.
