Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of employee recruitment and selection processes in an organization engaged in the production of various types of packaging solutions. The aim was to analyse the process of employee recruitment and selection in the organization based on a questionnaire survey and provided internal information. Finally, to propose possible proposals or recommendations for improvement based on the results of the analysis. The first part is focused on the basic concepts in the field of employee recruitment and selection, and it described the methods used in the second part of the thesis as well. The second part dealt with the characteristics of the organization, an interview with an HR specialist and the analysis of a questionnaire survey. During the evaluation of the results, it was found that the employees, except of a few of them, were satisfied with the course of the selection procedure. Finally, a few suggestions and recommendations were proposed to improve the shortcomings of the processes.
