Abstract

Name of the graduation thesis: Analysis of the Actual Capability Assessment of a Selected Process and Its Improvement.

This graduation thesis deals with implementation of the convenient procedure for analysis of capability of the process realized concerning the assembly of car latches. The procedure includes the complex data analysis, evaluation of normality and data independence, examination of statistic stability and calculation of capability´s indexes. The graphic tools such as Histogram, Box-Plot, Time Series, Control Charts, etc., have been used. The discussion of achieved results and implementation of possible corrective actions for process improvement is included in the thesis as well. The purpose of this thesis was to develop a methodology for process capability evaluation in the company and its practical application.
