Abstract

The thesis explores the possibilities of using artificial intelligence tools to solve an engineering project. Its aim is to analyze the potential of AI technologies, particularly language models, in the field of design and to evaluate their efficiency and benefits. The introductory part presents the topic of solving an engineering project and project management, with an emphasis on the potential use of AI tools. The second part provides a theoretical analysis of artificial intelligence, its history and anticipated development, including a review of available tools with a focus on the use of AI chatbots. The practical part addresses the field of security system design and the creation of project documentation, including the proposal of a custom GPT model – Security Systems Design Assistant, which is subsequently tested and evaluated through the implementation of a sample project.
