Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on one of the contemporary themes of the school system reform, which is inclusive education. The aim of the work is to evaluate the preparedness, the way and the current possibilities of implementation of the inclusive trends in a particular primary school in relation to the special educational needs of the pupils at the level of primary education. The work is divided into three main chapters. The first one describes the system of education in the Czech Republic, it emphasizes the changes that have been and still are being developed and it also defines the basic concepts related to inclusion. Another part of the work is devoted to the particular school. It analyses and compares current conditions for education to those that are necessary to ensure suitable and safe environment for all the pupils. The last part of the work also evaluates the quality of the implemented changes via self-evaluation questionnaires. It also models the calculations of economic demands related to the necessity of introducing supportive measures into the educational school system. According to the done analysis the particular primary school included more than 85 % special educational needs into its system before the amendment to the Education Act. Only personal and spatial conditions are still not covered sufficiently. However, it is a matter of one-time investment and regular expenses which the school itself is unable to ensure from its own budget.
