Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to assess the influence of long term operation on kinetics of fatigue crack growth in steel 14MoV6-3 (15128).
The kinetics of fatigue crack growth in air at room temperature was measured with test specimens of type C(T) using an optical and potentiometric method. Samples of the examined steel were subjected as well to the structural analysis and control chemical analysis. Finally, the measurement results of the kinetics of fatigue crack growth and the mechanical properties changes caused by the long term operation of the examined steel were evaluated.
