Ekonomická transformace zemí Visegrádské skupiny

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the process of transformation of the directly controlled economy to the market economy in the countries of the Visegrad group and comparing their economic development. In the first part are theoretically outlined a different strategies and other general transformation steps. The second part deals with the situation in Czechoslovakia during the centrally controlled economy and then follows an analysis of the transformation of the economy in each periods. Next is the analysis of the splitting of Czechoslovakia and economic impact on both countries. The third part describes the transformation of Poland and Hungary, further is compared with the economic development of the Czech Republic by some macroeconomic aggregates.
