Abstract
The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of fire development of edible fats and oils in households. The first part of the work deals with the introduction of theoretical knowledge needed for understanding the work. In the following part, a basic analysis was made about in which environment fires of edible fats and oils can occur in households, the possible initiators of these fires and versions of the causes of fire in the specified conditions. The third part of the work verifies the values of the fire-technical characteristics of sunflower oil, including the variant of oil polluted by its use. In the third part, a practical experiment is also described, where the possibility of a fire occurring simply by heating with ordinary kitchen stoves was verified. At the end, the obtained information is evaluated.
