Návrh úprav křižovatky Hraniční - I. P. Pavlova - Okružní v Olomouci

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with problematic traffic situation of intersection Hraniční – I. P. Pavlova – Okružní in Olomouc in connection with setting up limitations of some traffic activities at the neighbouring intersection Hraniční - Čajkovského. Based on the traffic research all necessary traffic-engineering characteristics were discovered and the prognosis of traffic in forthcoming year was determined. The prognosis was the essential base for suggestions which were taken as concepts and new solutions for the current traffic state. All of these variants were capacitively calculated and visualised in PTV VISSIM programm. After multicriteria evaluation of alternatives a final variant was chosen to which the plan documentation was made. The concept also takes into account the new developement plan of the city of Olomouc where the future tram way is planned to go along this intersection.
