Abstract

Analysis of the pension system in the Czech Republic

The aim of this Graduation these is to make analysis of present pension system in Czech republic,an assessment of its sustainability and evaluation of current status by aplication of the aging population model.

This graduation these is divided into three parts (except prologue and conclusion ). The second chapter is primary theoretical delimitation of the pension system in general, together with determination of general forms which are recommended by important world organizations,such as the World bank or the International Labour organization. In the third chapter are described mechanisms of function of the pension system in Czech republic. There are separately described methods of function of both pillars of the retirement system, together with mathematical, statistical and graphic anlayses of the basic indicators and characteristics. Practical fourth chapter includes the aging population system itself with the basics delimitation and application of the pension system of Czech republic for the year 1993-2008.
