Abstract

Arch. Aleš Vojtasík The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to prepare project documentation for the construction of a row house in Slezská Ostrava. This documentation has been prepared in accordance with the scope specified in Decree No. 131/2024 Coll. on Construction Documentation. This work is based on a study that was developed in the Studio Practice I course during the winter semester of the 2023–24 academic year. It was subsequently revised in the Studio Practice V course during the 2025–26 academic year. This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design of a row house in Slezská Ostrava, located in a suburban area of the city. The building is designed as part of a row of houses and is laid out to accommodate a family of four on a permanent basis. Structurally, it is a two story building set on a gently sloping lot, featuring a flat roof and no basement. The bachelor’s thesis project is divided into two parts: the textual section of the project documentation, which includes an introductory report, and a technical report. The thesis includes an appendix containing drawings of the building in question, along with an architectural specialization focusing on a reinforced concrete staircase with a wine shop in one section of the building, as well as visualizations.
