Problematika nakládání s obaly z nápojových kartonů

Abstract

In my graduation thesis I intend to deal with the waste management of utilized beverage cartons. I have choosen to examine this due to the fact that separated beverage cartons are normally unclean, coupled with issue of it possesing a microorganism friendly environment within the remaining liquid. I will examine the significant health risks associated with exposure to these microorganisms found. Beverage cartons are produced by two or possible three types of materials. As a result the recycling process of beverage cartons is more complex than the recycling of a single type material. There are two basic ways of recycling these beverage cartons. The first trough the recovery of the fibers at paper recycling mills, here only the paper component is used from the cartons individual sheets. Secondly it is possible to capitalise on all components of this laminated material by using compression to make panel boards. In relation to the laminated materials as a whole, I will deal with the process of compression to make panel boards or other such compound products. Furthermore in this thesis I am also concerned with energy recovery.
