Abstract
The thesis deals with competitiveness. The theory is aimed at clarifying the findings of external and internal environment around the company and individual analysis, which is used to assess the status of business to competitors.
The practical part of the competitive position of established companies Valero Ltd., based on PEST analysis, competitor analysis, SWOT analysis and portfolio analysis (GE matrix).
The conclusion is centered on a proposal of measures and recommendations that will help us to improve our market position and resistance to competition.
