Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals about the possibilities of voice control in autonomous mobile robot industry. Specifically, it is about creating a voice assistant for the mobile robot MiR 250. The theoretical part describes the mobile robot MiR250 and its functions. Furthermore, the principles of translation from voice to text and finally, the principle of REST API. The practical part deals with the design and implementation of voice assistant, that means selection and connection of hardware, creating a program for speech recognition and communication between voice assistant and mobile robot MiR 250. The conclusion includes the start, testing and evaluation of the project.
