Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the Eastern partnership of the EU. The objective of this work is to identify and evaluate effects of cooperation between Eastern partners and the EU, to predict probable future development which have been established from existing cooperation, further this dissertation acquires complex information about current events in this formation. The chapter „Eastern partnership as a part of the European neighbourhood policy“ focuses on development of the European neighbourhood policy, its tools and goals. Additionally the attention shift towards the origin of Eastern partnership program, to all moreover this work investigates the shaping process of this program and the/its budget for 2010–2013 period, at the end of the chapter is stated the engagement of eastern partners in the frame of the 7th framework program. In the chapter „The mutual cooperation of eastern partners with EU“ are shortly characterized particular eastern partners, agreements, which are obeyed by the states while cooperating with the EU and also connections between individual eastern partners and the EU. Furthermore, this dissertation includes the current Crimea crisis. The last chapter „Effects of the cooperation and prediction of the future development” focuses on economical effects from cooperation of Eastern partnership members. This thesis investigates the future development of Ukraine in details.
