Vícekriteriální zhodnocení vybraných zoologických zahrad

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is multicriterial evaluation of elected zoos. The thesis is split into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is focused on the public sector followed by nonprofit organizations parts thereof are contributory organizations. Contributory organizations include zoos. In the practical part are the zoos quartilly divided by the number of animal individuals, which creates four groups.The elected zoos are characterized based on performance indicators and analyzed by economical indicators in the defined groups. The indicators are followed by multicriterial evaluation. The result of recalculations of each indicator is the fact that the quantity of animals is not affecting the number of zoo visits and own incomes, because the visitors are interested in the animal species not their quantity. However the number of animal individuals significantly affects the total cost of the zoos. In conclusion it is possible to evaluate the influence of the number of animal individuals in particular groups on the ranking of the zoos which were evaluated.
