Abstract

The object of the diploma thesis is the issue of the euro area export in the period 2000–2018. The diploma thesis gives a comprehensive view on trading competitiveness. The target of the diploma thesis is to determinate the dependence of the export of euro area member states on selected factors in period 2000–2018. The first chapter defines trading competitiveness and methods of its measuring. The analytical part of the thesis examines the territorial and commodity structure of the euro area and its export performance. Through this analysis, is processed comprehensive view of the euro area export profile in the reviewed period. The empirical part of the thesis contains a linear regression model which examining the dependence of euro area export growth on selected macroeconomic indicators of the important business partners. Concurrently are verified the hypothesis of the regression coefficient behavior.
