Využití fotokatalyticky aktivních materiálů ve stavebních hmotách

Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the use of photocatalytic active material in the building materials. The theoretical part describes the semiconducting materials, their category and energy of the band gap. This thesis also describes selected photocatalytic semiconductors and deals with fundamental heterogeneous photocatalytic reactions. Following part, is focused on the description of building materials based on Portland cement and latent hydraulic materials. At the end of the theoretical part the current state in the use of the photocatalysts as direct building materials is summarized. The experimental part describes the preparation and characterization of the photocatalytically active graphitic carbon nitride g-C3N4. It also deals with the preparation of samples of cement-based building materials with photocatalysts, characterization of the basic properties of the prepared building materials and description of the influence of the presence of g-C3N4 on the cement’s hydration processes. The conclusion of the practical part determinates the photodegradation efficiency of the surfaces of prepared samples of building materials by degradation of selected organic dye.
