Abstract

BONCZKOVÁ Sabina, Detached House in Ostrava, Bachelor Thesis, VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Architecture 226, 52 pages, 2015, Supervisor: Ing. arch. Radim Václavík. The Bachelor Thesis called "Detached House in Ostrava" solves design of a building for a family of four members in the suburb of the City of Ostrava - Výškovice. It is a two-floor building with basement. On the first above - ground floor there is located the center for meetings of family and friends. The second floor is used for private purposes only and it is intended for relaxation of the family. Design was based on the orientation of the house on the estate towards the cardinal points. The entry of the building is located in the north side. In the south side there are glass facades which purpose is to open up the building to its surroundings. The building is designed in brick system SENDWIX, which are lime-cement blocks with thermal insulation.
