Zhodnocení implementace eReceptu a eNeschopenky v České republice

Abstract

The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the development and implementation of ePrescription and eSick Leave in the individual regions of the Czech Republic (14 in total) in the period 2016-2021 using the WSA multicriteria decision method. The thesis works with two hypotheses, H1 and H2. Hypothesis H1 claims that “There is an increase in the digitalisation of the Czech healthcare system, which also figures as a goal in the strategic documents of the Czech Republic”. H2 assumes that “The individual regions of the Czech Republic differ in the degree to which the selected eHealth tools (ePrescription and eSick Leave) are used, while the region with the highest level of digitalisation and the region with the lowest level of digitalisation differ by more than 30 percentage points”. For the WSA method, 8 indicators were selected to compare the 14 regions (14 variants) with one another. Based on the methods of comparison, analysis, and basic descriptive statistics, it was found that there was an increase in digitalisation, as the indicators showed an improvement. The results of the WSA method showed that there are significant differences between the regions, as there is a more than 50 percentage point difference between the region with the highest level of digitalisation and the region with the lowest level of digitalisation, that is the usage of ePrescription and eSick Leave. The differences between the regions are greater in 2021 than in 2016. It was found that in 2021 the Pilsen region had the highest level of digitalisation, while the Capital City of Prague had the lowest level of digitalisation.
