Porovnání kvality streamovacích služeb pro domácnosti

Abstract

Stěžejním tématem této bakalářské práce je hodnocení kvality dvou vybraných streamovacích platforem, a to VOYO a Netflix. Cílem práce bylo identifikovat nedostatky těchto platforem a navrhnout konkrétní návrhy na zlepšení kvality služeb. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na definici a vymezení pojmu kvality, včetně historie, řízení a nástrojů kvality, a teoretického rámce pro hodnocení služeb. Dále se zabývá charakteristikou streamovacích platforem obecně a poté specificky charakterizuje vybrané platformy VOYO a Netflix. Praktická část práce se zabývá hodnocením kvality služeb obou vybraných streamovacích platforem pomocí diferenční analýzy. Pro hodnocení byly vybrány klíčové parametry kvality, které byly analyzovány a následně byly navrženy konkrétní návrhy na jejich vylepšení. Na závěr práce dochází k porovnání kvality českého VOYO a zahraniční Netflixu. Závěr práce ukazuje, že i přes zjištěné nedostatky jsou obě platformy konkurenceschopné, s větším důrazem na zlepšení nabídky obsahu a personalizace služeb.

The main topic of this bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the quality of two selected streaming platforms, namely VOYO and Netflix. The aim of the thesis was to identify the shortcomings of these platforms and to propose specific suggestions for improving the quality of service. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the definition and delineation of the concept of quality, including the history, management and tools of quality, and the theoretical framework for service evaluation. It then discusses the characteristics of streaming platforms in general and then specifically characterizes selected platforms such as VOYO and Netflix. The practical part of the thesis deals with the evaluation of the quality of service of the two selected streaming platforms using differential analysis. For the evaluation, key quality parameters were selected and analyzed, and then specific suggestions for their improvement were proposed. The thesis concludes with a comparison of the quality of Czech VOYO and foreign Netflix. The conclusion of the thesis shows that, despite the identified shortcomings, both platforms are competitive, with more emphasis on improving the content offer and personalization of services.
