Abstract

The employee benefits are a part of compensation for most of the employees, however, in comparison with the financial rewards are in many cases forgotten. Most of the literature is focused on general remuneration, but the importance of specific types of employee benefits is left behind. The aim of this paper was to investigate the nature of reward systems and related HR policies for a variety of job roles in a Czech car factory. The main emphasis was placed on the preference of employee benefits depending on the position in the company. Quantitative data were collected in a car manufacturing company, which were lately analysed by use of descriptive analysis and correlations. Moreover, a number of charts and tables were created for better understanding and explanation. At the end of the study were not find any significant relations between the positions in company and employee benefit’s preferences. However, these results should be interpreted carefully for the little sample size and according to the other limitations.
