Abstract

This thesis deals with the issue of information system which serves the military geographers purposes. The purpose of the system is to make geographical products available with use of web technology and to allow sharing of these products in the intranet of the army of Czech Republic. The aim of the system is to unify the way of access to different types of products from different sources. In addition the system solves sharing of products created by its users and access to data according to privileges granted by system administrator. This work describes the genesis of the system from a definition of requirements to implementation of the first version of the system.
