Sémantický web a jeho vizualizace v prostředí MS Surface

Abstract

Current web contains a huge amount of information disordered into connected hypertext documents. Because of the quick growth of the web, it is becoming even harder to work with it. Semantic web is an iniciative which tries to transfer the web of documents into the global web of data where the information would be retrieved a much more efficient way because of it's formal structure and well defined semantics. New technologies and approaches can be used thanks to the semantic web. For example touch enabled devices which have been in the center of interest lately. Microsoft Surface represents this type of device. It was developed by Microsoft Corporation and it's presented like a revolution computer platform. With Microsoft Surface, new types of maximum user friendly applications can be created. How to build Microsoft Surface application from start to end with use of semantic web is described in this diploma thesis.
