Abstract
The subject of this diploma thesis is the application of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) in the production process of flanged shafts in the company, which is engaged in manufacturing castings and forgings.
The theoretical part describes current approaches to the quality planning of products with a focus on the application of FMEA.
In the practical part is an analysis of the current state of quality planning of products at the producer of castings and forgings and the subsequent of the application FMEA process to production flanged shafts. In conclusion is the evaluation of the temporary results and suggestions for the further improvement.
