Zhodnocení partnerské spolupráce obce Ludgeřovice

Abstract

The present thesis deals with the issue of partnership cooperation of a Czech municipality. There are outlined theoretical starting points of partnership cooperation, historical background, authorities supporting cooperation of towns and municipalities, financial support of The European Union and current trends in partnership cooperation. The issue is analysed on the example of partnership cooperation of municipality Ludgeřovice which established cooperation with Slovak town Tisovec, Hungarian town Putnok and a Polish municipality Nowy Zmigród. In the course of time, this cooperation evolved and is currently on an infromal level, without any formal contract. The thesis presents economical and social aspects of partnership and its benefits for municipality residents. Opinions of Ludgeřovice residents were analysed. These opinions were gathered by a questionnaire. The thesis is ended with suggested measures leading to a greater development of partnership cooperation of Ludgeřovice.
