Ecological Transformation of a Company and its Impact on Competitive Position

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze the process of ecological transformation in enterprises, focusing on its main motivations, economic impacts, and influence on competitive advantage. The thesis examines whether the implementation of environmental measures is economically beneficial and whether it contributes to strengthening a company's competitiveness in the market. These questions are formulated as two research hypotheses that form the basis of the analysis. The theoretical part defines the fundamental concepts related to sustainability, environmental management, and the concept of green transformation. The practical part focuses on the analysis of a selected company and evaluates the costs and benefits associated with the implementation of environmental measures. The results of the thesis indicate that ecological transformation can be economically beneficial in the long term and at the same time contribute to strengthening a company's competitive advantage through cost savings, improved brand image, and increased market attractiveness.
