Sledování a statistické hodnocení efektu ambulantního pleopticko—ortoptického cvičení

Abstract

The subject of this thesis is creating an electronic database and its graphical user interface. The database includes personal data of patients and information about the progress of the pleoptic-orthoptic exercises. The final software stores data in the database, works with already stored data and is able to generate temporal trends for statistical evaluation. The database was created by relational database system Firebird, which was subsequently linked with the development environment Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 through C# programming language.

This thesis aims at facilitate the work of ortoptic nurses during ambulatory pleoptic-orthoptic exercises at the Centre for children with visual impairments at the University Hospital in Ostrava. In the first part I devote to the theoretical analysis pleoptic-orthoptic exercises and defects of binocular vision whose treatment is supported by these exercises. In the practical part I present the creating an electronic database and its graphic interface.
