Abstract

Diploma thesis called „Multifunctional complex, Brno – Veveří“ is based on project designed during winter semester the result of which was a propasal of public space. The result of thesis is created project of multifunctional complex which includes three buildings contains of commercial parter, office space and residential units. Buildings builds public space, along with a semiprivate space of three yards. Under the building is located two floors underground garage, additional parking spaces along the one-way roads. The aim is to verify the possibility of development of a city block without limiting its pedestrian permeability. This goal has been difficult to meet due to the design concept, which was to preserve the diagonal passing through the plot.
