Analýza podnikateľského prostredia v Žilinskom kraji

Abstract

The diploma thesis Analysis of business environment in the Žilina region is based on appropriately selected methods to analyze the situation of the business environment in the Žilina region and on the basis of the deficiencies suggest possible improvements that would contribute not only to increase the attractiveness of the region to potential investors, but to encourage in particular the operation small and medium-sized enterprises. The theoretical section summarizes the basic knowledge about small and medium-sized enterprises, the business environment in which these businesses exist, but also forms of support, which is provided to SME. The practical part consists of the basic characteristics of the Žilina region, which is carried out using PEST analysis. By questionnaire is surveyed opinions and attitudes of businesses operating in this region. Based on two previous analyses is developed SWOT analysis, which reveals the strengths and weaknesses and opportunities and threats in the region. Finally at the thesis is proposed recommendations that could improve the business environment in this region, actually to facilitate business activities of SMEs in the region of Žilina.
